Guilds are character created groups that are formed by 3 or more founding members with one common guiding purpose. They must create a Charter with a unique mission or purpose for why their Guild is forming and submit it to be recognized by the Crown. New Guilds may seek official recognition during formal Court, typically held in the Winter at Tar Seath.
Guild membership requirements and specific benefits are specified by the Charter. Some benefits to joining a guild include the ability for like-minded characters to pool their resources, and the ease with which a group can bend the Crown’s ear relative to the weight a single character’s opinion would hold. Being a member helps a character gain a place in society and gives them one reason to occasionally band together in a party, if desired.
To join a guild, seek out it’s leaders or founding members in character to learn more about the specific membership requirements and pay any necessary dues.
